This is a beautiful 2005 National Dolphin, Model 5342.This coach was used seasonally by the original owners and we take only long weekend trips, as we are still working. The remainder of the time the coach is kept in a 40' secured covered parking and completely out of the sun. This RV has never been smoked in.Chevrolet Workhorse chassis, 8.1 (502 cubic inch) Vortec V-8 with 340 horsepower. Allison 5 speed transmission with a grade brake and overdrive. Allison transmissions are not available on Ford V-10 engines. This rig holds 75 gallons of gas and the tank fill is centered on the rear, which is nice when your hunting for a gas pump. With this power train, we can cruise at 2000 RPM (65 - 68 MPH) and average 8 MPG or better, which is .20 cents a mile for class A comfort.This coach pulls hills very well and it has plenty of power to accelerate and pass if needed. This unit has a 12 cubic foot, four door Norcold refrigerator freezer with ice maker. We have all the original paperwork and maintenance records.

This coach (Model 5342) is 34 feet 6 inches with two super slides and sleeping for six.The National Dolphin Model 5342 is one the most capable gas coaches on the market (interior room, economy, performance, load carrying, towing and fit and finish).This coach does not float down the road like other models. We have friends with large diesel pushers and our coach, with its similar 22.5 inch tires, rides just as solid and nice as theirs and ours is way more affordable and just as economical. Fully loaded with fuel and water, we can still carry an additional 1500 pounds. This unit has a true 5000 pound tow capacity, not just a 5000 pound hitch (very important). Other features include: Maple Cabinets, Mirowave/convection oven combination, large shower and an upgraded Queen size mattress (real queen, not the shortened version) and two televisions.This coach has dual and ducted air conditioners that can be isolated to run from a 30 amp service. |
